The Fenwick at Claughton – on the main A683 just minutes away from the M6 J34 – is between the historic Lancaster Castle and the legendary C14th Devil’s Bridge at Kirkby Lonsdale. The 250 years old inn, with large open fires, low beamed ceilings and oak planked floors is bursting with character and atmosphere, combining a traditional pub and restaurant which specialises in seafood and pub classics and the Seafood Pub Company’s signature world food.

The Seafood Pub Company began with the opening of The Oyster & Otter at Feniscowles, Blackburn in 2011. In 2012 it was named a Great British Pub Awards ‘Best Food Pub’, an accolade won by the Assheton Arms in 2013. The Assheton Arms in the Ribble Valley village of Downham also won the ‘Lancashire Life Dining Pub of the Year’ title and was a finalist in the Top 50 Gastro Pubs ‘Best Newcomer’ category, and more recently has been chosen for inclusion in the 2014 Good Food Guide. The Fenwick became the third venue and the latest is the Farmers Arms in the Fylde village of Great Eccleston.
